Smothered

Season 7's finale takes place in Delmont, PA, just outside Pittsburgh. A desperate mother says she and her children sleep together in the living room while her husband sleeps upstairs. She believes it's ruining her kids' childhood.

Matt clears the location, and Amy arrives for her walk.  She meets a male spirit who has a lot of issues with women. Says he follows/watches the women and goes through their things.

The house belonged to the husband's grandmother in the 1950's and has been in the family for 3 generations.

Wife says they experience voices, nightmares, and appreciations. Her health has been going downhill, and doctors can't explain why. They see shadows, and they wake up with bruises and scratches.

Amy meets 2 women, 1 older and 1 younger. The younger does not like kids, doesn't see them as humans, and tries to smother them.

The husband tells Steve he visited the house as a kid and has some good memories...til his grandmother was so sick from cancer and her medication, she shot herself and died. He said he once woke up feeling he's been picked up and dropped.

Amy says there's a lot of anger and screaming from living male. See him being touched.

Steve talks to the daughter. She's afraid to sleep in her room, because she hears the door and drawers slam. She sees black mists and has bad dreams of people chasing her, trying to kill her.

The son tells Steve he thinks he's seen blood on the floor, a white human-shaped shadow go up the stairs, and hears growling and banging. He's afraid to go upstairs, especially at night.

Amy says a woman goes back/forth through the door moaning, tries smothering the kids, and want them dead.

Steve does his homework and found out about a woman who lived near by who's husband committed suicide 2 days after they were married.

The local historian told Steve of a woman who came from a family who owned a tavern in town. Wanting to make her own money, she became a seamstress working for the wealthy. She was accused of stealing from them but was never charged. Then she had a child out of wedlock. Later, met a man and married him the same day. 2 days later, he wrote a suicide note saying he can't provide for his bride, leaves her a gold piece (only thing he had of value), then kills himself with morphine.

Amy says the younger demented woman was all about money. She had 2 relationships that went bad.

Steve found out about a woman who was killed in front of her 6 year old child after drinking alcohol and taking 15 pills. County sheriff said she was stabbed with a screwdriver by a sex offender. He later died in prison from cancer.

Amy says the male spirit was a sex offender stalker. She sees he's associated with the number 15.

At the reveal, Amy and Steve meet up for the first time with each other and the clients. Once again, we're blown away by Amy's abilities and are comforted by Steve's compassion.

Amy verified that the older woman is the husband's grandmother who has been watching over the family and has helped Amy on her walk. It was also made known that the younger female was the money grubber and the male was the perverted murderer.

Amy suggested getting a male medium to banish the male and to do a reading with and help move on the grandmother. A voodoo priestess would be best to take care of the younger female.
