Just watched the Dead Files season 7 premier “Guardians of the Dead”. This was their first episode outside the U.S., and they were in Jamaica investigating Rose Hall. It...was...AWESOME!
When Amy first arrived for her walk, she did not want to go in there. Amy’s one tough cookie. So when she’s scared, you know something’s up.
My favorite scene was when Steve interviewed the little girl. He was so sweet and compassionate.
Everyone who owned or worked there experienced some freaky stuff. Anything from a ghost mimicking their actress to ghosts grabbing employees.
During her walk, Amy came across the “Guardians”. She said they were there to protect those who were killed unjustly. I’ve always been upset by stories of slavery, it bothers me more knowing that some of their spirits are still trapped. She also came across the spirits of 2 woman, a negative male, and many slaves.
Thanks to Steve’s amazing detective work, we found out that the legend was actually a combination of 2 different women’s life stories. So I guess that other show’s investigation about Rose Hall’s white witch was false.During the reveal, Amy talks about the “Guardians of the Dead”. Steve takes out the sketch and tells the clients, “This is what’s in your backyard, just so you know.” LOL, Steve.
Amy explained the purpose of the guardians and said the best way to please them is to offer flowers every month and thank them for what they’re doing.
As for Rosa Palmer and Annie Palmer, she suggested they get mediums to help them move on. The negative male spirit would need to be driven off with an exorcism.
Thank you, Dead Files crew, for coming back and starting this new season off with a terrific episode. Steve and Amy, thanks for the work you do to help these people (both living and dead). Can’t wait til next week.
